KVS automatically provisions and elastically scales all the infrastructure needed to ingest streaming video data from millions of devices.
It also durably stores, encrypts, and indexes video data in your streams, and allows you to access your data through easy-to-use APIs.
KVS enables you to quickly build computer vision and ML applications through integration with Amazon Rekognition Video, Amazon SageMaker and frameworks such as Apache MxNet, TensorFlow, and OpenCV.
We are looking for a Software Engineer to build video transport solutions across a range of networks and protocols.
Video ingestion encompasses embedded software which lives on video-producing devices such as IP cameras, smart phones, and robots as well as cloud-based software for video streaming.
You will build and operate software which efficiently transports video from devices to cloud through a range of industry standard protocols including HTTP, RTP, WebRTC, RTSP, RTMP, et al.
You will build and operate cloud services in Java which seamlessly and reliably scale out to billions of concurrent connected devices.
You will build end to end solutions including embedded C/C+
software which lives on the full range of video producing devices running Embedded Linux, ROS, RTOS, Raspian, et al.
Our services operate at large scale and on critical workloads, so a passion and discipline around operational excellence is key.
You'll also need to be willing to share big ideas and execute to deliver the next big innovations at rapid pace.
This engineer has a strong results orientation and has thrived in delivering high quality technology products/services in a hyper-growth environment.
