Major duties include, but are not limited to:
Serves as the initial, as well as the final point of contact for Veterans, Family Members and Guests entering and leaving the Adam Benjamin, Jr. VA Outpatient Clinic in Crown Point Answers questions submitted regarding My HealtheVet communication and provide clarification to Veterans and families on form submittal to ensure all proper guidelines and directives are followed Assists the patient in the use of the My HealtheVet web portal Seeks methods to help promote the My HealtheVet program to both internal and external customers Provides administrative support for the My HealtheVet program at CBOC level Generates patient data cards for Veterans using the Veteran's Health Identification Card (VHIC) system Utilizes the VHIC processing system and software to generate card requests Provides resources and assists Veterans and Patients with registration paperwork, My HealtheVet authentication, and VHIC processing Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-04 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-03. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note:

Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-03 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
working with office equipment including computers, fax, copiers; providing directions and information to visitors; receiving phone calls; providing customer service. OR, Education:
Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have two (2) years of education above high school. OR, Combination:
Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an combination of specialized experience and education as listed above. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

Physical Requirements:
The work required prolonged periods of time standing, walking along with Patients, their families and visitors, and sitting at a computer for extended periods of time to perform work. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
