Knowledge of 3D modeling, 2D Engineering drawing ( preferably with PTC Creo or ProE) and GD&T Knowledge of various manufacturing methods of sheet metal and plastics (fabrication, forming, casting, forging etc.
) Good to Advanced understanding of Thermodynamics Good to Advanced understanding of Solid Mechanics and Mechanics of Machines Fair to Good understanding of Fluid Mechanics Basic to Fair understanding of Electrical and Electronics systems and functions Basic to Fair understanding of product design and engineering change process
Responsibilities:
Design & development of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning equipment components.
Provide CAD support to users for the design of complex mechanical components used in HVAC industry specially using high end CAD softwares Creo and Solid Edge.
Support Engineering change from BOM and drawings standpoint.
Ensure Fit and Form of new and existing design.
Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery using computer-assisted equipment.
Troubleshooting/problem solving on constructability/design issues.
Education Qualification:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
At least One year experience in Creo(Pro/ENGINEER) CAD software is required.
