Position Overview :
The Field Services Solution Consultant is responsible for working with Unisys pre-sales, sales and clients to support proper design and construction of solutions related to Unisys Field Services offerings.
This role requires an individual with a broad knowledge base of the interdependent Work Place Services with a specialty in Field Services solutions.
This position requires FS operational knowledge (example; delivery, supply chain, systems) ; with the ability to apply both that knowledge and experience to quickly adapt to changing customer needs and an evolving set of solutions.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with and advise members of sales teams on solution features, architectural issues, implementation considerations, cost elements and effort estimates.
Work with Solution Architects group to vet and analyze against client requirements to Unisys offerings to ensure Solution Architect group has a profitable and competitive solution.
Function as the Pre Approver for FS solutions created by the Solution Architect team for all global deals.
Collaborates with sales teams to develop and recommend products and services to meet customers' requirements Gives input for up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the industry products and/or services Analyze detailed client business process as it relates to ITO services with emphasis on Field Services operations (RFPs, RFIs).
Participates in the proposed technical solutions through the Unisys Solution Verification Review and Deal Review Board for approval Support the development of cost elements and resource estimates as well as solution models.
Refine and optimize solution models.
May make architectural decisions about how solutions should be designed and implemented Knowledgeable on business processes, software and applications, and/or IT infrastructure and infrastructure management, with specific emphasis on Field Services operations May present solutions to internal and client stakeholders.
May assist and approve the design and implementation of proof of concept solutions.
Functions as the lead on the CVT mapping capabilities tool.
Present End User Services, particularly Field Services operations, in an attractive and confident manner to clients/prospects Lead client/prospect discovery engagements to determine opportunities/use-cases for Field Services operations Assist with services architects to vet detailed conceptual and logical solutions that meet business and technical requirements Function as subject matter expert (SME) in IT Services with emphasis on Field Services Operations inclusive of delivery, supply chain, logistics, configuration, staging services.
Assist in reviews and responses to RFP and RFI requests Skills, Experience & Qualifications :
IT related major or equivalent experience is required 6- 10 years of IT experience is required with at least 5 years of Field Services / End User Services related experience Ability to vet solution, present and defend detailed conceptual Field Services Operations Ability to be concise, articulate, and assertive in all forms of communication Strong knowledge of End User Services related tools and technologies Conversant in published security architectures, approaches, methodologies, and standards Excellent analytical skills Ability to collaborate with partners and peers Basic understanding of Data Center operations with strong emphasis and experience in Field Services Deliverables Do you have what it takes to be mission-critical?
