Data Scientist
Responsibilities:
Kforce's client is looking to bring on an experienced Data Scientist to their growing organization in Madison, New Jersey (NJ).
Summary:
The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and improve business outcomes.
They should work well with business stakeholders and have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms.
Responsibilities:
Work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions Research and investigate new data sources, perform data modeling, mine and analyze data to drive optimization and improvement of product development and business strategies Design and implement processes around machine learning, business intelligence, and predictive analytics Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy Help build a next-generation analytics platform with robust analytics features that lay the foundation to bring brands into the next era of data-driven excellence REQUIREMENTS:

years of Data Science/Analytics experience and strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development Skilled at using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.
) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets Proven experience with machine learning/data modeling projects and algorithm development for solving business problems Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.
) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.
) and experience with applications Experience with Big Data technologies and distributed data/computing tools:
Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, HDFS, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL, etc.
Experience with visualizing/presenting data for business stakeholders Knowledge of real estate, leads, CRM, commission structures and plans a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross team and cross function collaborations Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
