60 hours (flex) Seeking a Symantec Data Center Security (DCS) Engineer to assist in a remote, 60 hour project.
ESPO Systems Consultant will assist our customer with a new Symantec Data Center Security (DCS:
SA) deployment; to include architecture design of the associated management infrastructure, installation and configuration of the management servers, and deployment of the DCS Agent to targeted endpoints.
The customer has approximately 19 endpoints in scope.
An ESPO Systems consultant will be deployed remotely (using Zoom & Basecamp) to assist with the deployment during all phases on a time and materials basis.
The scope of the engagement is limited to a single DCS manager connecting to a single MSSQL server and communicating to DCS agents using only Detection policies to achieve the business objective of File Integrity Monitoring (FIM).
The consultant will leverage Symantec's best practice consulting methodology consisting of a situational assessment, architecture review and design, tested and piloted transformation, and transition into on-going operations.
These efforts will be directed at the customer's stated project elements including:
Architecture Design and Review Management infrastructure installation Client package creation and deployment to pilot environment Policy tuning Assist staff with deployment and troubleshooting of any associated issues Knowledge transfer to DCS product administrator(s) Assist staff with full deployment to production systems Project Phases Phase 1:
