Systems Administrator (Secret)
Overview By Light is hiring a Systems Administrator to join our team providing Information Technology (IT) support services to the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) located on Fort Benning, Georgia.

Responsibilities Responsible for activities related to system administration and performs Tier 1-2 technical support for both classified and unclassified networks.
Provide telephonic and remote desktop management assistance to users for computers and peripheral devices.
Identify network problems impacting users and perform troubleshooting and take appropriate steps to quickly restore optimum service.
Load, configure, and troubleshoot microcomputer applications and utilities.
Utilize the Army's Enterprise Remedy automated work order system, to track and work customer requests.
Performs day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for operating systems, workstations and servers.
Resolve desktop problems via Remote Control; add/delete accounts and reset passwords as needed; responsible for Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) remediation.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, relocate, and repair desktops, peripheral devices, and printers Performs basic software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
Gather IT metrics and data from available sources to develop, prepare, and maintain business intelligence reporting for both classified and unclassified environments.
Deploy Government-provided interoperable and integrated standard common user office automation desktop software as approved for use by the Army Golden Master program.
Submit daily systems reports and contact next level of support to escalate unresolved problems.
Utilize Active Directory (AD) tools to manage and create objects AD servers.
Utilize remote tools to connect to remote desktops.
Applications include SCCM.
Required Experience/Qualifications Associate Degree in an Information Technology Field or 3 years of relevant experience.
2-4 years relevant experience with Systems Administration.
DoD 8570 Baseline Certification; IAT Level II Certified (Security
CE or equivalent certification) Preferred Experience/Qualifications Experience supporting or assigned to the DoD and /or U.
S.
Army Network Enterprise Technology Command.
Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
