Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, F-35 Program
Job Description :
Manages general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Directs periodic inspections and general overhaul and repairs or modifications requiring replacement and assembly of parts. Consults manufacturers' manuals for specifications and determines feasibility of repair or replacement. Performs other duties as required and assigned by the Interim Contractor Services (ICS) management team.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting and MUST maintain a Interim/Secret throughout.
Must be willing to work 1st, 2nd and 3d shift, as required, and potentially on short notice. Must be willing to work weekends and deploy on Temporary Duty Assignments on short notice.
Basic Qualifications
Must have at least 10 years Fighter aircraft maintenance experience
Must have at least 2 years F-35 aircraft maintenance experience (experience must be within the last 5 years)
Must have 3 years leadership experience in an aircraft maintenance environment
Desired skills
Thorough understanding of ALIS, Low Observables, Avionics, Weapons
Experience working with foreign partners.
