QA Technician
Performs a variety of linear accelerator QA technical procedures under the supervision of a physicist.
1. Performs ionization chamber QA measurements.
2. Performs radiographic film QA measurements.
3. Performs radiochromic film measurements.
4. Portal imaging fluence measurements.
5. Performs QA procedures in compliance to department, Health System and Department of Health regulations, protocols, policies and procedures.
6. Alerts physicist of malfunctioning equipment and supply shortages.
7. Performs related duties, as required.
ADA Essential Functions
High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Higher education and training in physics, preferred.
Knowledge of instrumentation and measurements. Ability to communicate effectively.
