Job Description
Physical Requirements:
Must ski at a minimum intermediate level often in extreme winter weather conditions
Operating a vehicle is an essential function of this position and will require the successful applicant to meet the minimum requirement of the Intrawest Drivers Standards Policy that includes possessing a Colorado Driver's License and meet insurability standards.
Must communicate clearly in English
Minimum skills, experience, education and ability for this job:
7-10 years of experience in food & beverage operations with specific experience in the areas of fine dining and quick service operations
5
years of experience supervising and managing multiple areas of responsibility
5
years of experience developing and maintaining budgets of multiple areas of responsibility
5
years of experience managing multiple capital projects
3-5 years of experience developing strategic plans, standards, and accompanying monitoring systems
Performance record showing success in achieving goals and effectiveness in working with all levels of management and operating personnel
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Problem solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workers
Be consistent role model for company's Service Excellence standards
Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:
Oversee all related to the Food & Beverage Operations of SSRC
Prepare and submit recommendations for capital and operational budgets with necessary documentation that may be required.
Review daily operations on a timely basis, to evaluate present procedures and recommended changes for the future.
Attend various meetings, company and non-company, that may be requested by management
Various duties or activities that are unforeseen but may be requested by management or otherwise required for successful ski area operations
Oversee those personnel from the above mentioned areas work harmoniously with other departments and personnel within those departments
See that all records and reports are completed and filed in an orderly manner, and when necessary, distributed to the appropriate departments within a reasonable time
Encourage an excellent rapport between departments and other company personnel
Guest relations/problem solving
The addition, deletion and/or promotion of personnel, to ensure that all daily activities are completed within a safe, economical and reasonable manner
See that personnel maintain a desirable work standard as set forth through company policies
Oversee that all personnel receive qualified training for area(s) to which they are assigned
Complete job evaluations for direct reports and giving necessary guidance where applicable
Understand and ensure compliance with company and corporate policies & procedures
Understand and ensure food safety standards, liquor laws and regulations are in compliance
