Procurement Representative
Job Description :
Manage the procurement cycle from purchase order to payment of invoice
Coordinate with production, completion and repair departments to set priorities and time-lines
Negotiate pricing and contractual terms
Negotiate and manage lead times
Manage vendor relationships and performance issues
Control costs and perform price analysis
Maintain accuracy of purchasing documents and data
Be aware of and follow all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, hazardous materials requirements, repair station requirements, FARS and DFARS, and Sikorsky Aircraft policies
Other tasks and duties as assigned by management

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with the supply base to motivate and encourage them to meet performance and support our delivery schedule to our customers.
Desired skills
Solid working knowledge of SAP, SDS, SSQS, drawings/technical data, manufacturing processes, tools, Access, etc. in addition to root cause analysis, process improvement techniques and cost analysis.
In addition, a strong working knowledge of Sikorsky product, quality and manufacturing processes.
A basic understanding of the principals of lean manufacturing and the ability to maintain a strong customer/supplier relationship.
