Responsibilities
Location- Moffett Federal Airfield
The qualified individual will have a minimum 4 years' experience administering mission-planning/ military experience or 18 months F-15 experience. Operational aircrew experience is highly desirable. Understanding various elements of mission spectrum is highly desired. These include, but are not limited to aircraft performance factors such as climb rates, turn radius, cargo/ stores capacity and fuel burn; understanding of airspace, airways, airports, NAVAIDS, as well as other flight information details; chart basics such as datums, geo-referencing, CHUM and ECHUM; threats to aircraft and their varying Parametrics; weather as it impacts mission planning; and Air Tasking orders, to include SPINS and a basic understanding of the related systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related discipline or Technical School certificate related to computer systems or the equivalent military training.
Candidates must be able to achieve DoD 8570 level II certification within 6 months of hire date.
