GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
The Aspire program delivers unique services to both children and adults with high functioning autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Aspire is a pioneer in developing innovative programs that focus on the development of social pragmatic skills as well as achieving independence and success in academic and career settings. With the expanded commitment to serve adults with ASD in career development through internships with corporations across the Boston area and Aspire's expansion of philanthropic commitments and expectations, the position of Project Manager is being established to ensure achievement of financial and program goals. Aspire is an important part of the Lurie Center for Autism which provides clinical care, training, and research related to autism spectrum disorders.
The Project Manager is responsible for the implementation of all applicable strategies necessary to satisfy the requirements of various projects and initiatives within Aspire including daily financial management of philanthropic and clinical funds; development and execution of project plans; creation of tracking, analysis and reporting tools; database management; analysis and reporting of data from marketing, applicant, and program systems; and all initiatives developed by the Executive Director and Administrative Director to promote the goals of the growth of Aspire. Under the direction of the Administrative Director and Executive Director, the incumbent will manage all aspects of assigned project's life cycle, identify departmental needs and opportunities, and communicate all goals, objectives, and plans to the appropriate parties involved.
The expectation is that the financial monitoring effort will be approximately 35% of the effort and the balance will be focused on project implementation and maintenance.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Prepare, monitor, and manage the Aspire sundry and clinical funds, including monthly financial reporting under the direction of the Executive Director and Administrative Director. Identify areas requiring further analysis, and conduct analysis as needed to answer budget/financial questions.

This will involve verifying staff and program expenses and filing the budget in Hyperion. It will also involve calculating year end operational support transfer amounts.
Review financial aid applications, calculate award amounts, and manage communication with families around awards.
Manage Aspire databases and ensure data integrity. Specific responsibilities include:
Coordinate with Access database developer to request edits and updates
Update data tables with user, group and facilitator information
Prepare reports for internal and external requests for data and activities as assigned by leadership
Ensure the highest possible integrity and accuracy of participant data
Generate accurate lists for newsletters, direct mail appeals, and event invitations, etc.
Responsible for providing data for planning and performance improvement projects
Act as departmental resource for Epic Data Analysis/Reporting
Act as gatekeeper for Aspire participant information. Create program records, screen for payment type and amount. Create reports for Billing Department to support program billing.
Participate and prepare short and long range business models and forecasts, assist with departmental and financial planning, and strategic goal development as needed.
Support the Program Director and/or Program Managers, as well as the MGH Development Office, as they write grant proposals (non-research) for corporate, foundation and government funders.
Support the Executive Director in the development and implementation of strategic plans that support the goals and philosophical mission of Aspire.
Support the implementation, development, and growth of new services of Aspire as directed by the Executive Director.
Ensure appropriate follow-up and tracking related to current programs and new initiatives.
Develop and communicate standard operating procedures (SOPs) for administrative aspects of programming in collaboration with the Office and Program Manager.
Assist the Executive and Administrative Director in the planned expansion of Aspire to satellite locations.
Act as key liaison for other team members and employees for any issues related to MGH and other information systems.
Gather, analyze, and interpret key statistics and data for reporting to department leadership.
Present any applicable findings, data, and research to project stakeholders in both formal and informal settings.
Serve as both an internal and external representative for Aspire where needed.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of the current healthcare industry and corporate climate, particularly as related to the Internship program.

Strong project management skills with ability to stay on top of a variety of commitments and deadlines, prioritizing time frames and schedules, and reporting on problems and progress in a timely manner
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a results-driven environment
Microsoft Office skills, including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Capacity to learn new computer systems and programs as needed including multiple financial reporting systems such as Vision, and Insight.
Working knowledge of Partners' Healthcare Information Systems
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Previous project management experience
Strong organizational skills

EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree required with Master's of Business Administration (MBA) or Masters of Public Health (MPH)strongly preferred
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of business experience required. A minimum of 1 year of healthcare industry experience is helpful but not required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
