Maintenance Technician- 2nd Shift
Providing maintenance support to the facility, we are looking for a multi skilled craftsmen, (with strong Electrical and Mechanical bias) who has experience working in an industrial / manufacturing environment.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining equipment and using a computerized maintenance system
Responding to equipment breakdowns and completing repairs to equipment
Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions on industrial/assembly equipment, machinery and building as required
Perform preventative maintenance as per schedules
Request replacement parts
Adhere to the company's Health and Safety policy and safe working practices
Adhere to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork
Undertake training/further learning as required
Basic
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years Industrial Maintenance experience and/or training
Intermediate proficiency reading mechanical or electrical blueprints
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Millwright or Electrician Journeyman card
Experience in using PLC based systems
Skilled in both Mechanical and Electrical
Previous forklift and man-lift experience
The ability to work closely with others to accomplish team goals
Have a fully flexible approach to the job role and responsibilities
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions/procedures
Good problem solving skills, necessary to get to the root cause of issues
Willing to work a multi-shift system and overtime
Additional Information:
Must supply own Hand Tools- wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, etc. Power Tools will be supplied
Shift: 2nd Shift
Hours: 3:00PM-11:00PM, Monday- Friday

Wage Range: $17.78 - $21.64 / hour, plus $.40 / hour shift premium
