Nurse Manager
OverviewOverlook Medical Center is seeking a Full-time Nurse Manager to oversee the Post-Surgical Units: 6C, 7D, and 9CD.Responsibilities
Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.

Reviewing and revising policies as necessary to reflect changes in practice and to ensure safe, effective and efficient patient care
Ensures compliance with local, state, federal rules and regulations and OSHA and Joint Commission standards consistentlyin collaboration with other healthcare team members
Qualifications
Education:BSN RequiredMasters Degree Preferred
Required License:Valid New Jersey Nursing License Required
Certifications:BLS Required
Relevant
Experience:At least 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience with post-surgical patient populations
