Summary:
As the key liaison between the HR Department and assigned DTE Energy business units, work collaboratively with business unit and HR Department leaders and staffs to drive achievement of business unit strategies, goals, objectives and key business initiatives through the design and delivery of strategic, tactical and administrative human resources services. This position is assigned to larger and more complex business units and serves as a coach and mentor to Jr. Client relations Generalists to ensure that actions and recommendations are appropriate and aligned with other Business Units and DTE goals and objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
Develops and demonstrates a working knowledge of DTE Energy's mission, vision, values, competitive environment and key strategies that create competitive market advantage, including, specifically, how the enterprise makes money and the business language of the enterprise.
Develops and demonstrates a working knowledge of the assigned business unit's competitive environment, strategies, goals and objectives, key business initiatives and operational model that creates competitive market advantage, including, specifically, how the business unit makes money and the business language of the business.
Proactively assesses the human resources implications of the business unit's strategies, goals and objectives, key business initiatives and operational model and effectively communicate and create mutual understanding of those implications to business unit leadership.
Works collaboratively with business unit and the Client Relations Team, HR subject matter experts, and other HR professional and administrative staff to design and deliver workforce and talent planning, staffing, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, affirmative action, learning and development, organization development, performance management, and other related human resources solutions that address the human resources implications of and are aligned with the business unit's strategies, goals and objectives, key business initiatives and operational model.
Ensures statutory, regulatory, ethical, contractual and policy compliance consistent with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, enterprise values and code of conduct, collective bargaining agreements and human resources policies and procedures.
Advises and coach business unit on appropriate use of the HR service delivery model.
Provides coaching and guidance to Jr. Client Relations Generalists as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Management or related discipline required.
Must have five (5) to seven (7) years professional experience providing human resources, labor relations, and/or organization development advice and counsel, including at least three (3) years experience practicing a specific human resources discipline, labor relations or organization development.
Demonstrated general knowledge of DTE and/or utility or related industry operations.
Required working knowledge of state and federal employment and labor relations laws and regulations and professional best practices.
Demonstrated ability to effectively influence, persuade and coach to reach desired results.
Demonstrated experience in using a customer focused, business driven and results/solutions (not activity) oriented approach to establishing, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Demonstrated experience effectively communicating orally and written in multiple formats with varied audiences from individual to large groups.
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining effective and mutually beneficial relationships at and across organizational levels. 9. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong strategic, systemic and integrated thinking and decision making skills.
Able to set and execute priorities while simultaneously managing multiple projects.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office business applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), human resources information systems (PeopleSoft or SAP experience preferred), and Internet-based services and applications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
