Summary:
Under general direction, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex business problems. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. They are competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of the systems lifecycle while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
All analysts will focus on continuous improvement within the IT department. The unachievable goal is perfection. No matter how well something is currently performing, improvements should always be solicited both incremental improvements and radical re-assessments. Even when the options are infeasible, they should still be discussed and evaluated as this is how true solutions are found.
Identifying ways to foster a teaming environment. Looking for opportunities to increase the knowledge sharing amongst the rest of the IT department and also with our partners and customers. They are conscious of how their actions impact others on the IT Team, and also the impact on our partners and customers.
They help to ensure that every business customer that approaches IT has a positive experience. They also help to provide coaching to other members of IT (both more senior and more junior) when they see opportunities for further customer service.
They are a boncura Champion for at least one functionality area or application. A Champion in a given application must fully understand the application and be able to solve unique problems within that application that they have not experienced previously. They should only need to work with the vendor's first-level support on the rarest of occasions; instead, they should be coherently talking with the higher levels of vendor support. They should also be looking new applications/functionality areas to build expertise and become a Champion. When working in their areas of expertise, rarely do they encounter a question that could be answered by another department member. Instead, they must turn to vendor documentation, developers at the vendor, or other advanced research.
Working with end-users to address and resolve technology issues which arise with daily operational use of supported hardware and software solutions
Interact directly with other team members, physicians, and end-users, in order to understand business problems and help to identify solutions.
Working with end-users to help them understand the defined workflows and system functionality.
Working with end-users and other team members to identify when new workflows or functionality is required to meet their individual needs.
Identifying, analyzing, escalating and resolving critical initiative risks and issues.
Defining and communicating project standards and guidelines around the applications and workflows.
Documenting system requirements, release notes, test plans, training documentation, etc. as required by our project delivery methodology.
Coordinate with other administrative and support teams within MPAS (i.e. compliance, patient accounts)

EDUCATION and/or CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
Undergraduate degree in IT or related field
Master's degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in an IT application development role
Software development experience with Microsoft tools (e.g. .Net Framework (2.0, 3.0, 3.5), C#, ASP.Net, TFS & SQL Server)
Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, IIS, SharePoint Server and/or BizTalk not required but beneficial
Healthcare experience preferred
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
Activities involve primarily sitting for prolonged periods of time with extensive work using computer keyboard and monitor.
Ability to process information and communicate data clearly and succinctly.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Periodic exposure to conditions common to a clinic environment including communicable disease, blood borne pathogens, ionizing radiation, bodily fluids and toxic substances, hazardous materials.
Majority of time in office setting with normal lighting.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
