Technical Writer Sr
Job Description :
The candidate will be joining the LM team working on the Joint Deployable Intelligence Support System (JDISS) on location at the customer's site in Suitland, MD.
In this position, the Technical Writer will ensure that all documentation conforms to JDISS standards by formatting and making grammatical changes to technical documents for packages being processed by the team. Additionally, the Technical Writer will:
provide and maintain JDISS documentation templates.
Coordinate with engineers to resolve non-editorial documentation problems
found during testing phases.
Create deliverable documentation from functional areas in support of the
JDISS Program Office (JPO).
Manage Documentation Team Members
The Technical Writer will be coordinating with the LM Team and the US Navy customer team. Candidate must be able to work independently and coordinate with other members of their team. Work location will be in Suitland, MD at the Navy customer location. The engineer is required to have a TS/SCI clearance. Must have current, active SSBI.
Basic Qualifications
Experience in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
Proficient in Classification Markings
Security +
The engineer is required to have a TS/SCI clearance. Must have current SSBI
