Trimble is recruiting for a Electronic Engineering Technician to fill an opportunity in Victor, New York.
Job Summary
The technician will assist hardware design engineer in developing new products and modifying existing products' designs. Part of the job will be working no cutting edge products in the IoT (Internet of Thinkgs) arena. These products are primarily targeted for the water industry but the technology will be applicable across numerous markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Reading and understanding electronic schematics.
Building, testing and modifying electronic prototypes.
Collaborating with hardware design engineers and other personnel to identify, define and solve developmental problems.
Using computers for testing products, writing reports and creating test procedures.
Building, calibrating and maintaining test fixtures.
Operating hand and power tools for disassembly and assembly of equipment.
Work effectively both as a member of a team and as an individual contributor.
Required Education/Skills:
3 years of engineering technician experience in a manufacturing design environment.
Associates degree or higher
Mastery of electronic test equipment e.g. multi-meter, oscilloscope, power supplies, etc.
Good soldering skills
Strong computer skills
Good vision with color recognition
Ability to lift/carry 25lbs
Self-starter attitude

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
