Oracle Forms Developer (s)
i360 has an upcoming need for a Jr., Intermediate and Sr. Oracle Forms Developer to support our client in Millington, TN. System support includes system design, development, and management technical services sufficient to maintain a GOTS system operations and perform updates and enhancements, as necessary, to meet the requirements of public laws, regulations, standards, stakeholders, and best business practices. Program slated to start in October 2017.
Position Description:
Provide technical sustainment support of a GOTS financial management system that has over 60 production databases and 15 development databases each with approx 1350 tables and 200 views each on a web-based Oracle relational database and 35,000 users. The system contains over 10,000 database procedures/functions and over 70 modules/areas of functionality. Solaris OS, Oracle DB 12C, Oracle WebLogic Server 11g, Oracle Forms & Reports, ADF & SPARC T5 servers. There are approx 25 interfaces.
Work with customer SMEs in analyzing system requirements
Finalize system change requirements, error correction strategies and design changes
Diagnose database errors
Modify code to satisfy requirements, correct errors
Create data correction scripts
Perform change testing prior to Corps Functional testing
Monitor routine system processes: reconciliation, G/L posting, report stacks and CRON execution
Participate in committees and review groups as assigned
Position Requirements:
Knowledge of and experience with Oracle tools and technologies:
o Oracle Forms 11g (11.1.2.1.0)
o Oracle Reports 11g (11.1.2.1.0)
Familiarity with federal finance management policies and standards
Familiarity with DoD systems
Experience migrating Oracle Forms to java HTML user interfaces.
Additional Qualifications Preferred:
Knowledge of Oracle Federal Financials or E-business Suite
Experience with DoD or civilian federal agencies to include 3rd party solutions/interfaces such as
Knowledge of and experience with Oracle tools and technologies:
o Operating System: Solaris 10 and Solaris 11
o Oracle Database 12c (12.1.0.2.0)
o Oracle WebLogic Server 11g (10.3.6)
o Oracle Hyperion SQR Production Reporting 11.1.2.4
o Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) 10.3.6
o DBSign 4.0.8.1
o Oracle SPARC T5 Servers
Qualifications:
Must have strong Oral and Written Communication skills
Must have strong experience working within Teams
Must have strong Client Support Skills with Flexible and open Responsiveness
Must have Excellent Customer Relationship Management skills
Ability to be hands-on in this role to develop polished, professional documentation and other written materials
Must have strong analytical, collaborative, organizational and problem solving skills
Ability to extend a strong commitment to quality of solutions and services provided to client
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision with proactive problem-solving skills
The selected candidate will be required to undergo a successful background check before starting the project
Must hold a BS/BA degree in relevant discipline such as MIS, IT, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, and Finance
