Summary:
Direct and lead hourly employees on day to day function inside the distribution center. Work with other department leads as needed.

Responsibilities:
Assign and monitor work assignments
Make adjustments to work assignments to meet goals
Provide input to performance appraisals
Train and provide direction to staff
Discuss performance and discipline issues with staff
Log safety, performance, and procedural issues
Monitor yard and yard drivers
Monitor and order supplies
Problem solve WMS and equipment issues
Communicate with DC Coordinators
Use Labor Management to monitor individual performances
Perform observations regularly as part of maintaining LM
Monitor and approve hours in payroll system
Monitor housekeeping and 5S activities/assignments
Verify that safe practices are being followed
Communicate with Production, Logistics, Maintenance, Display, Receiving, and other internal departments as needed
Create and use daily Leader Standard Work document
Cross-train to fill in at other positions in the department
Job Requirements:
High School education
Valid state of WI driver's license
Must pass lift assessment
Working knowledge of WMS, AS400, and Microsoft Office suite
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Experience in a Distribution environment a plus
First line supervisory experience preferred
Good analytical and reasoning abilities
Self-motivated
Interpersonal skills to coach and counsel others
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 35 lbs. frequently, and occasionally lift up to 75lbs.
Ability to stand and walk for 90% of the work day

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
