Employees in this classification are responsible for performing a wide variety of care activities in an assigned specialty or subspecialty outpatient clinic on an as needed basis. Incumbent is assigned per the direction of the local Director of Nursing Services. Work is performed as part of a total health care team in providing complete evaluations to patients. Major/Essential Functions Communicates patient data using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to support decision-making to improve patient care.
Assists with or performs exams and procedures and documents intervention in EMR.
Prepares and operates necessary equipment and instruments for examinations, treatments, and procedures.
Coordinates emergency transfers with security.
QA/QI activities and audits. Maintains documentation for standards of care and compliance with policies.
Administer or assist with administration or documentation of medications.

Qualifications Education: Completion of a recognized program of nursing or an educational program appropriate for the level of care to be provided. License: License or certification consistent with regulatory requirements. Preferred Qualifications Preferred
Qualifications:
Basic computer skills.
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.
Correctional experience.
Position Specific
Qualifications:
Current vocational nursing license in the State of Texas or the attainment of a temporary permit from the Board of Nursing to practice vocational nursing pending full licensure in the State of Texas. New graduates must pass the National Nursing Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) on the first attempt OR Current Registered Nursing license in the State of Texas or the attainment of a temporary permit from the Board of Nursing to practice professional nursing pending full licensure in the State of Texas. New graduates must pass the National Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) on the first attempt. Current CPR certification.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
