Overview
Sealed Air is currently seeking an Engineering Project Manager in our Hygiene Solutions segment. This position can work remotely in the Eastern United States.
Responsibilities
Support sales colleagues in collection of customer requirements, develop solutions to customer objectives, prepare quotations and manage execution of successful bids
Pre-sales and after sales activities, managing KPIs like: timely and on budget completion; documentation completeness; customer satisfaction.
Supports project management of OEMs global engineering projects
Develop, manage and grow relationships with OEM customers and their decision makers
Interact with Diversey Key Account and Global OEM Account Managers
Decides project work plans and determines necessary resources and timing, ensures that projects have the correct allocation of people and skills, identifies and escalate roadblocks and risks, directs the activities and maintain project calendar, solves the problems, co-ordinates the resources (internal or third party ) assigned for a project to ensure engineering quality and projects execution according to agreed plans and design
Collaborates with Food & Beverage Global Engineering Team
Ensures that all local legislation and Health & Safety requirements are fully adhered to during the project execution
Ensures that all personnel work safely and in a safe environment
Qualifications
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Engineering project management experience with 10
years experience in project engineering in food and beverage environment
Cleaning and sanitation and industry expertise/knowledge to:
understand the needs and requirements of customers
work with the design group the most appropriate solution in such a way that our proposal can fit with our value proposition
understand the systems the team is asked to start up/commission
understand the implication on customers processes
understand the implication on Diversey's relationship with the customer
take this into account when planning activities and resources
Knowledgeable in CIP, boosted water systems
Team buidling and coordination capabilities and optimal communication skills are a must
Experience working with professional services / 3rd parties
Demonstrated ability to prioritize
Problem solving attitude
Willingness to travel
Ability to establish and work within a productive home office environment
ADDITIONAL
Qualifications:
Strong CAD skills
PLC programming skills an asset
Technical writing and presentation skills
