Who You Are
If you re an inspired, passionate, motivated A-Player, and above all, are ready to keep developing and learning then this is a great position for you. As the Product Photographer you will take digital studio shots of products for our website, advertisements, brochures, books or magazines. You will set up the product on a suitable background and use different lighting techniques to get specific creative effects. Following the shoot, you will use digital editing techniques to enhance the image or achieve a specific result.
Responsibilities
The Product Photographer s job duties are as follows:
Photographs products, models, in studio or on location and other assigned projects
Develops knowledge of and understands product features to ensure that the proper usage of product is conveyed, and that the preferred angles and combinations are used for all assigned items
Stays up-to-date with technology, photographic equipment and software
Stays up-to-date with current fashion styles and industry trends
Performs image processing and color correcting
Analyzes image requests and use imagination and creative skills to photograph products and models in an original and creative manner in cooperation with the creative director
Collaborates with Creative Director on creativity issues and all other aspects of photo shoots
Assists in preparation and some assembly of products when necessary
Performs quality control of all images
Multitask
Excellent communication skills
Superior time management skills and the ability to work independently
Be proactive with problem solving both technically and creatively
Qualifications
Degree in Visual Arts and/or equivalent combination of training and experience

Years professional digital photography experience
Preferred experience in Product Photography and/or Image Production environment
Experience with camera systems and workflow applications such as Lightroom, Photoshop, Profoto Strobe Lighting and Nikon DSLR
Good skill set and understanding of Flash Product Photography
You must provide a professional photography portfolio that demonstrates a working knowledge of digital photography, including: lighting, composition, color quality, and aesthetics, relating to product and lifestyle photography. Applicants applying without a link to samples of work will not be considered.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
