Energy Department Manager
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Country Operations Division in Michigan. We are looking for an Energy Department Manager. You must be able to make decisions, work independently, and be detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
You will:
- Establish strategic marketing plans to achieve company objectives for Energy products and services.
- Direct and coordinate the Energy operation's business plan, marketing program, and risk management program.
- Grow and develop sales markets and distribution opportunities
- Oversee DPR's (Daily Position Reports), A/R and Collections, and propane sales.
- Purchase fuel, lubricants, and propane products.
- Manage Refined Fuels Distribution and bulk fuel delivery for the region.
- Supervise and manage team through training, clear job assignment definition and explanation, timely correction of deficient performance, and providing effective rewards and develop opportunities to all employees.
- Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
- Oversee, monitor, and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned
- Cultivate and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Basic

- Degree with 5 plus years of energy sales and / or management experience

- Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Marketing, or Sales
- Experience as a Certified Energy Specialist (CES)
- Cooperative experience
