Systems Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a TS/SCI cleared Linux Engineer to be responsible for maintaining mission essential systems while providing direct support to end users in an operational environment. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for solving complex forensic and biometric work flow processes employing Linux, C, C++, Perl, Python and Scripts.
In this role will:
- Must be comfortable working in a LINUX server environment - Virtual and Brick and Mortar
- Be required to solve complex identity management problems
- Be required to training war-fighters on the use of applications and systems
- Be required to meet operational requirements.
Basic
Qualifications:
- Work in an agile development environment and support Operational requirements
- Architecture design, development, accreditation and implementation of forensic and biometric multi-media capabilities
- Maintain a LINUX server environment to support enterprise and expeditionary missions
- Programming in Linux, C, C++, Perl, Python and Scripts
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
- Ability to code and script
- Experience with systems and IT operations
- Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
- Strong grasp of automation tools
- Data management skills
- A strong focus on business outcomes
- Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
Desired Skills:
- Interact and collaborate with war-fighters on a daily basis
- Collect customer requirements and train users
- Forensic and biometric engineering experience
- BS in Computer Science or related field
Security Clearance:
- Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI level clearance
