Staff Accountant
Millennia Housing Management, an industry leading property management company headquartered out of Key Tower in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, is looking for a Staff Accountant.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or working towards a Bachelor's Degree.
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be career driven, and be able to handle multiple duties and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Pay for this position is based on experience and education.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparing Financial Statements and Statistical Reports such as:
- Bank reconciliations.
- Analyze and reconcile General Ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform balance sheet and budget comparison analyses and explains variances through notes to the financial statements for assigned portfolio.
- Completes year-end audit work papers for external auditors for assigned portfolio.
- Annual budget preparation and other related budget activities.
- Assists in developing company processes to promote efficiency.
- Maintain files and records as needed.
- Adhere to confidentiality policies so as to be trusted with sensitive information.
- Provide assistance as needed to external auditor's requests.
- Maintain fixed asset schedule for assigned properties.
- Prepare cash flow analyses for assigned properties
