Description
Currently seeking a Communication/Network Engineer to provide engineering support to the PMA-209 Tactical Communications (TACCOM) Team.
Essential Job Functions:
Support system level designs, installation, testing, and certification in aircraft; assuring system compliance to meet DoD communication requirements.
Maintain and provide in-depth networking support on tactical/mobile communication platforms; to include network troubleshooting and complex problem solving expertise on switching/networking Layer 2 (Data Link) and Layer 3 (Network) issues.
Implement, monitor, report and resolve Layer 2 network security measures such as port security.
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of network routing protocols.
Analyze and optimize tactical/mobile communication routers and switch settings and perform network protocol analysis.
Utilize principles of systems engineering and other engineering disciplines to evaluate, recommend solutions and clarify requirements.
Requirements
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
BS Degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science or Engineering.
At least (6) years of experience in engineering position is required. Five (5) years of experience directly related to Naval Aviation systems.
Experience with design, integration, testing and debugging of Embedded communication systems.
Experiences with communication access technology such as CDMA, FDMA, TDMA, OFDM , IEEE 802.11 and 802.3 MAC protocols.
Experience with Lab Level analysis/testing on Ethernet based systems.
Desired Skills:
Scripting experience and experience with LINUX and Security Enhanced Linux (SELINUX) are desired but not required.
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP).
(MIL-STD-1553 multiplex data bus system testing experience is a plus).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
