TOWN OF MONTEREY WANTED:
PART TIME TOWN ADMINISTRATOR The Town of Monterey seeks qualified applicants for the part time (minimum of 20 hours) position of Town Administrator.
Position serves as the Board of Selectmen's top administrative officer, performing professional, administrative, technical and supervisory duties to oversee Town departments, activities and projects; works with town boards to prepare and implement operating and capital budgets; supervises human resource functions, conducts research and provides information and serves as liaison and coordinator between elected and appointed Town officials, employees, volunteers and citizens.
Berkshire County residency shall be required, following appointment.
Bachelor's Degree in public or business administration or related field preferred.
Master's Degree in related field is highly desirable.
Five years of progressively responsible experience as a Town Administrator, Town Manager, Assistant Administrator or similar position.
Any equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute at the discretion of the Board of Selectmen.
Salary up to $35,000/yr plus benefits commensurate with education and experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
