PART-TIME STAFF REPORTERS WANTED REDWOOD TIMES Redwood Times, our local Southern Humboldt weekly publication based in the City of Garberville is seeking two experienced Part-Time Staff Reporters to cover local news in the Southern Humboldt area.
Southern Humboldt resident preferred.
Job Qualifications include:
News Reporting/Writing Skills Knowledge of Associated Press Style guidelines Advanced Word Processing and Computer Skills Essential Interviewing Skills and Good Phone Manner and Interpersonal Communication Skills.
Able to handle daily deadlines and work as a team player Ability to take photos and video College Degree preferred in Journalism, Communications, or English Literature.
Minimum of two years professional newspaper experience also preferred Any offer of employment is subject to the passing of our online background check and pre-employment drug screening.
