Branding/licensing: help define the vision for the brand and work with the outside teams to build on that brand strategy. Identify key licensing opportunities that tie into the overall brand message. Marketing strategy: design and execute on a plan to help build brand awareness, identify core customer targets and help create tools to support business development strategies. Target markets: leverage marketing initiatives to enhance consumer engagement both in store and on line through commercialization of all in house brands. Trade shows: manage the launch of brands at key trade shows. Pricing: design and execute an integrated pricing strategy and manage the business development team in meeting margin and profitability goals. Coaching/team development: critical to the future is having leaders who can help teach, mentor and promote the values of the firm. This director will be responsible for managing a number of direct reports and building a global marketing team, working with each group to provide direction and enhance growth and development of the team.
Job Requirements
10 years experience in consumer products marketing is a must. Experience in managing global teams. 3 years minimum working in a start up or entrepreneurship.
Education
MBA preferred.
