Our delivery and distribution client located just outside of DFW Airport is on the hunt for an experience General Manager to join their team. The General Manager role is a direct hire opportunity to work with cutting edge processes on a very successful team looking to take production to the next level.
This role is a 3rd shift position.

The General Manager Role:
Manage all components of the branch P&L costs: including headcount, productivity, vendor services/costs, etc.
Oversee all facets of the branch Quality initiatives while managing best practices.
Coordinate client/vendor pick-ups, closing times, cut-offs with dispatch and distribution.
Work with vendors, operations, and sales teams to maintain optimal performance
Maintain schedules for couriers, airlines, and carriers as needed
Manage employee relations, ensuring high employee satisfaction to maintain head count and low turnover rates

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a General Manager role managing over 100 employees.
General Manager experience in high volume setting
Bachelors degree in Management/Engineering
5
years experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, transportation type settings
Ability to manage variable hour work in coordination with volume needs
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
