DUTIES: Responsible for the testing, documentation, and root cause analysis of customer problems on new or upgraded software systems and EMC products and solutions. Provide technical support for software solutions for external clients based on detailed specifications from EMC technology/systems. Work with EMC customer service teams to assess client environments, and identify issues, gather all necessary information for root causes of issues, such as system and software information, usage scenarios, log files and screen shots. Reproduce client problems in a lab environment, identify the root cause of issues, and provide diagnosis to the appropriate EMC engineering team. Work with EMC engineering teams to ensure issues are address either by patches or by fixes including new releases. May be assigned to projects the utilize GreenPlum Data Computing Appliance, VCE vBlock, Centera, eDA; RecoverPoint and VMWare vCenter. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field. 24 months experience in job offered or computer related occupation. Experience must include: 1) CLARiiOn; 2) VNX; 3) Cloud Tiering Appliance; 4) FCoE; 5) PostgreSQL; 6) VMWare administration; and 7) Storage protocols (Fiber Channel, SCSI, ISCSI, NFS, CIFS). Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
