ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Safety Team Chair-organize and schedule meetings including tracking of corrective actions
Safety Training-organize, schedule, and track required training. Manage the employee training roster to insure all affected employees are trained in a timely manner and meet regulatory requirements
Plant Injury Coordinator-receive, track, and communicate incident reports. Ensure corrective actions are completed in a timely manner
Verify Permit and Regulatory Safety Compliance (Typically Monthly Checks)
First Aid Stations: track, stock and improve accessibility and organization
Fire Extinguisher: operation checks, coordinate annual certifications
Eye Wash/Safety Shower: operational checks
SWPPP sampling and reporting, ensure plan is followed and updated periodically
SPCC compliance: work with maintenance regarding oil storage, spill containment etc.
Organize, schedule, and review Emergency Evacuation Plan including conducting Fire, Tornado drills
PPE Management-Research, organize, and track PPE. Work with EHS Manager to evaluate appropriate PPE for job tasks, reduce waste and drive down cost, and ensure employee provided PPE is adequate. (i.e., Safety shoes/boots, prescription eye glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.)
MSDS-Local resource to communicate with vendors, receive, upload to database and train employees
Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the EHS Manager
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1-2 years industrial experience in conducting audits, investigations, inspections, and safety education
Prefer degree in Occupational Safety and Health
Prefer certifications such as OSHA 1910 General Industry 10-30-hour
Authorized Trainer, or other relative general industry certifications
Familiarity with manufacturing/maintenance is preferred
Experience with ISO 14001 Compliance Audits is a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be expected to go between an office and manufacturing environment. All Applicable Personal Protective Equipment will be required (Steel Toe Shoes, hearing and eye protection, etc.) while walking the manufacturing floor.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
