The Property Maintenance Person is responsible for the overall maintenance of the property and equipment, and functions as a member
of the Maintenance Team. The property maintenance person must successfully complete the Performance Oriented Maintenance
Training Program within the first 60 days of employment.

Service Mindset: Smile and speak to guests, answer questions regarding the property and provide a positive guest experience
Positive Guest
Experience: Assist guests with maintenance problems related to their stay at the property in a polite and timely
manner
Support Clean Team and Welcome Team: May perform duties from other property positions as needed or at the direction of the
General Manager or the Area Maintenance Person in order to maintain proper operations of the property
Quality Adherence: Maintains the property and equipment as outlined in the Maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
including:
. Complete Performance Oriented Maintenance Training Program (online training and Preventive Maintenance DVD) in the first 60
days of employment
. Complete duties timely as outlined in the Preventive Maintenance Program
. Ensure the Service Channel work orders and routine maintenance activities are completed as needed or scheduled
. Maintains swimming pool, parking lot and lawn
. Perform routine and minor electrical and plumbing maintenance throughout the complex
. Perform minor adjustments on climatic control system
. Replace defective television sets
. Keep work shop in order and tool kit inventory in place. Report par stock needs to manager
. Notify manager where major repairs are needed
. Work with the General Manager, Area Maintenance Person, Regional Maintenance Engineer, or any assigned vendors
performing work on the property
Safeguard all Motel 6 / Studio 6 Assets: Adhere to and comply with all company policies, practices, procedures and guidelines as
outlined in the Safety and Security Manual
Other Duties: as assigned by General Manager, Area Manager and/or other management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Computer proficiency, including Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel
Able to pass a property maintenance assessment
Prior experience with property maintenance, preferably in motel or hotel environment
Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow written and verbal work instructions
Good communication skills
Must be able to meet the job requirements for all Clean Team and Maintenance Team positions in order to perform them as
needed
New hires, must meet all G6 Hospitalitys employment qualifications in force at time of hiring.
Current G6 Hospitality Team Members, must have received a Meets Expectations or above on last performance appraisal.
Essential Functions:
The individual occupying this position must be able to perform essential job functions and the general duties and responsibilities with or
without reasonable accommodation.
The following requirements may change depending on the individual property and according to the confines of the workspace available
for any required task:
Simple and firm grasping is required for all tasks. There may be some tasks requiring fine manipulation skills
Reaching is required at all levels through the work period
Pushing and pulling are required approximately 60 70% of the time (for example, using cart to carry linens, trash, tools, or
equipment such as mower, paving cleaner, etc.)
Frequent lifting and carrying items of 40 pounds is required. Lifting above a maximum of 60 pounds is rare
Majority of normal workday is spent standing or walking. The remainder is spent sitting, kneeling, or in other positions as needed to
accomplish required tasks
Climbing stairs approximately 10% of the time
Crawling may be required up to 10% of the timeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
