Conduct project-specific market audits and research, and gather market data in target segments, such as benchmarks, needs and values. Run and analyze statistical market data through contracted vendors and syndicated databases to forecast future market trends. Develop and manage internal and external contact network for market trends. Establish research methodology and design format for data gathering, such as surveys and questionnaires. Support strategic accounts with customized market research, and compile and catalog samples for key account projects. Gather data on competitors and analyze prices, sales and methods of marketing and distribution. Monitor and summarize industry publications, and collect data on customer preferences and buying habits. Compile presentation materials, and prepare reports and graphic illustrations of findings.
