Aon Affinity Travel Practice, a leading provider of Travel Protection Plans, is located in Jericho, NY and is a division of Aon Corporation.
Currently, we have a exciting career opportunities for FULL TIME Customer Service Reps in our Jericho, NY office. Multiple positions and shifts. Shifts include:
Monday through Friday: 1 pm to 10:00 pm
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 11 am to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 11 am to 8 pm and Saturday fromm 9 am to 5 pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The initial point of client contact and servicing. This position has frontline involvement with administering Travel protection plans for Cruise Lines, Tour Operators, and Retail Accounts. Essential duties include: Answer incoming calls in a prompt professional manner while meeting performance standards (average availability, talk time and call volume). Extend quality service to clients by providing knowledgeable coverage information and assisting with additional inquiries. Initiate claims and provide subsequent status information. Maintain key performance indicators, meeting standards set for the position. Compose written responses to customer inquiries. Voluntary participation on special project teams, to enhance the departmental knowledge base. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience / call center experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office. Must have ability to multi-task and prioritize work flow.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with clients.
Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
