Summary: This position performs manufacturing engineering functions within the company with clear and specified objectives and is expected to excel at facilitating continuous improvement initiatives aimed at high output and manufacturing efficiencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Operates and maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area following company policies and procedures, including cGMPs. Follows all company safety rules in performing job duties and while representing the company on business travel.

Assists in continual improvement and problem solving through original thinking, brainstorming, team interaction, problem definition, and implementation.

Supports operations as required with a focus on increasing rates, maximizing yields, and reducing downtime.

Develops complete and accurate project objective statements to include scope; timelines & budgets, project deliverables; milestones & key resources required to be successful.

Successfully leads project teams to ensure all customer needs are met & satisfied.

Performs equipment Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT); Validations and Plant Acceptance Testing as needed.

Creates and updates engineering documents, P&ID, electrical drawings, tag sheets in Viso, Excel, Word, Access, & other applications as required to ensure project completion and operation uptime.

Completes and updates engineering changes regarding tasks and inventory on new equipment and improvements in reference to preventative maintenance.




Monitors processes and equipment for improving equipment operation and efficiencies.

Designs and draws simple mechanical parts in AutoCAD, Visio or other required software, as needed.

Assists in Plant Engineering & maintenance duties in regards to wiring, diagnosing controls, and replacements of parts.

Assists in monitoring and fine-tuning the software and controls required to keep equipment performing at a high capacity - e.g. - PLC's, HMI's, and Timers.

Supports the maintenance function through the development of improved parts and procedures and the improvement of preventative maintenance tasks using the maintenance software (MP2), including conducting training as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.



EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
BS in Mechanical Engineering. 3-5 years experience preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
