Seeking individual with experience developing specification lists and technical requirements for equipment used in sputtering activities for metallic coatings.
Activities:
Meet with technical and design representatives from third party equipment manufacturers and deliver a specification and requirement list for new equipment orders.
Test equipment for adherence to project and process requirements and approve or deny based on inspection of output product through tests performed by using a variety of metrology equipment, statistical process control methods and other quality inspections.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of sputtering, ion beam-assisted deposition, electron beam physical vapor deposition and similar processes used to apply thin film coatings onto materials including copper, copper-tin alloys, and aluminum.
Degree in Physics, Optics, Chemistry, or Material Science related discipline.
3
years relevant experience interfacing with third party equipment suppliers and working in a R&D role providing process development to projects in the thin film industry.
