Provides administrative oversight, direction and support of the Quality Improvement Department to coordinate activities that provide opportunities to improve patient care, satisfaction and safety consistent with Samaritans Mission, Vision and Values.
Serves as the central administrative oversight for all quality improvement activities across the organization. Plans, develops and implements departmental budgets and program priorities.
Plans daily department operations and maintains efficient staffing, training and supervision.
Assumes Administrator on Call responsibilities.
Minimum Education Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current NYS RN registration of licensure.
Bachelors degree, Masters preferred.
Minimum Experience Requirement
Sufficient experience in clinical healthcare and leadership in an acute care setting.
Knowledge of current local, state and federal regulations and Joint Commission Standards
Proficient in the use of personal computer including Word and Excel, spread sheets and analysis and presentation graphics and software.
Highly developed organizational skills and interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups at all levels.
Ability to facilitate group/team projects
Ability to independently take initiative and exercise good judgment in decision making
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under deadline pressures and simultaneously manage several projects
Professional maturity that daily sets the tone in carrying out the responsibilities of the position
High degree of honesty, integrity, accountability and confidentiality.
Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to undertake new responsibilities as assigned
Ability to work under stress

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
