System operations and training engineer responsibilities are to create, maintain, and provides system training on a variety of system topics. Other tasks include CONOPS implementation; operation procedures and software script developments and validation using the system simulator; training material and simulation scenario development and presentation. Applicant supports the coordination and execution of system test tasks and other engineering events. Maintain proficiency in initializing and upgrading the system simulator. Investigate and diagnose unexpected system signatures. Provides and responds to corrective actions in a timely manner. Quickly adapt to changing processes and identify paths to resolve issues.
Requirements
Applicant should have relevant systems engineering and real time operations experience. A secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a top secret plus an SSBI/SCI within the last 5 years. Applicant should have familiarity with scripting languages (TCL/TK, Perl, python, C++), MATLAB, and other analysis and trending tools. Red Hat Linux operating systems. Knowledge of relevant systems/subsystems.
Education
Minimum 9 years experience with BS, 7 years with MS, in engineering or scientific field.
