Educaton Minister
Onnuri Mission Church, a Korean-American congregation located in Maryland Heights, MO, is seeking an Education minister to perform the following duties:
Develop, coordinate, and direct religious education programs for the church that focus on changing individual lives to emulate Jesus' teaching and community's attitude towards Christianity; Select appropriate curricula or class structures; Identify, recruit, and train volunteer workers for religious education programs; Implement program plans by ordering needed materials, scheduling speakers, reserving space, or handling other administrative details; Counsel individuals regarding religious, interpersonal, or other problems; Study and analyze church membership and community needs for basis of program development periodically; Collaborate with other ministry members to develop ways to encourage program participation; Schedule and administer special events such as camps, Vacation Bible Schools, Discipleship Training conferences, meetings, seminars, or member retreats; Confers with the senior pastor and the education committee members on general direction of the churchs educational programs
The position requires a BA in Christian Education and one year related experience.
