Creates programs/modules/code independently. Translates requirements to module-level software using appropriate construction techniques. Independently applies design techniques, patterns and constraints. Independently creates and/or modifies high- and low-level design for a module. Modifies existing programs/modules/code under supervision. Modifies existing code comments under supervision. Authors requirements documentation independently. Uses requirements gathering tools, analysis techniques and change management on projects. Applies configuration management tools and policies. Creates basic configuration management plans for a product/project or contributes to a more complex product/project integration strategy. Participates in requirements reviews. Contributes to technology investigations. Serves as a reviewer for technology investigations. Selects (or contributes to the selection of) technology relevant to work products and tools. Modifies design under supervision. Independently creates design documentation for a module. Understands and documents designs using a modeling language. Debugs during implementation using appropriate debugging tools. Independently debugs to identify the root cause for module-level coding problems. Executes existing software tests. Plans for software testing during design and implementation. Provides indirect customer support or basic direct customer support. Complies with engineering processes. Reviews and recommends additions and modifications to engineering processes. Travel required: 5 to 10% of time.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer-Embedded Software Applications. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, and three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer-Embedded Software Applications. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience or a Master's degree and three years of experience. As part of the experience being required, applicants must have had: experience with real time embedded 8, 16 and 32 bit microcontroller software and highly complex multi-threaded systems; experience in programming real-time embedded systems using C++; experience with industrial communications and motion control protocols, including EtherNet/IP, CIP Motion and CIP Safety; experience with RS-232, USB, Ethernet, TCP/IP, network communication protocols, serial communication, and run-time debugging; experience with the SoC peripherals, including Ethernet, NAND, UART, SPI, GPIO, EMIF, USB, A/D, PWM, FPGA, LCD and EDMA; experience using SCRUM, including the use of VersionOne management tools; experience using Team City continuous integration, build, and testing tools; experience in real-time embedded firmware development utilizing Green Hills Integrity Real-Time Operating Systems; experience in the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, design, development, architecture, testing and support; experience participating in peer reviews of source code and testing procedures; experience using interrupts and ISR; experience in Configuration Management tools in the development life cycle for source control; experience in the design and creation of automated test tools using Python, ladder logic executing on PLCs; experience in testing, validating and troubleshooting integrated source code on a real time target using a WireShark protocol analyzer, serial communications, JTAG, and SysLog; experience working in a cross-functional, geographically diverse team setting; and experience developing servo drives for the motion control market.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
