The Wholesale Flooring Sales Manager is primarily focused on managing, leading and guiding a small team of showroom employees to success. Job Responsibilities
As a Wholesale Flooring Sales Manager, you will be responsible for increasing the productivity of each employee's, as well as achieving and exceeding profitability goals for your assigned showroom. You will be overseeing a staff of 3-6 employees, which include 2-4 Account Managers, a Warehouse Service Coordinator and an Administrative Assistant.
Responsibilities for the position will include:
Assigning membership leads to prospect territories and assigning marketing territories to Account Managers
Actively reviewing marketing contracts by Account Managers for quality and quantity
Tracking memberships sold and activated during 1-3 months, 4-6 months and 6-12 months of membership
Tracking appointments for showroom visits and walk-in visits
Designing and implementing methods for increasing new member leads
Measuring, tracking and analyzing sales performance by individuals and sales team as a whole
Recruiting and hiring new Account Managers when needed
Ensuring newly-hired employees are trained and certified in PSN On-boarding process
Developing results-driven sales goals and develop action plans to help them achieve goals
Managing the showroom's reward and recognition programs
Selecting and pricing showroom merchandise
Maintaining a professional level of knowledge about flooring products
Planning and managing showroom promotions



Job Requirements




Wholesale Flooring Sales Manager ( Design / Management / Consultant )

Candidates for the Wholesale Flooring Sales Manager have a Bachelor's Degree preferred from a 4 year college or university, as well at 5
years of related sales management experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable. In addition, the Sales Manager must display a high level of communication and leadership skills in order to be considered.
Other requirements for the Wholesale Flooring Sales Manager include:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, and professional journals
Ability to write reports, and business correspondence
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to read and interpret a P&L (Profit and Loss statement)
Ability to understand and effectively communicate numerical data
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and general Internet skills
Wholesale sales or flooring experience, a plus
