Quality Engineer

QUALITY ENGINEER FUNCTIONS:
To provide technical knowledge of customer requirements and needs, to ensure that systems are implemented, maintained and adhered to in such a manner as to ensure that customer expectations are met.
Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in preparation and representation during all customer related quality audits and surveys.
Take the lead role in customer relations. This is to include visitations, problem resolution, corrective action and communication of customer complaints.
Have working knowledge of APQP, Control Plans, FMEA's, GD&T, PPAP's.
Keep plant personnel informed of quality related issues, as well as promote quality awareness throughout the manufacturing facility. This includes checking customer websites for quality issues.
Initiate 8D meetings with cross-functional teams to reach root cause/corrective actions of the issue.
Participate in on-site sample runs of prototype and pre-launch product. Assists Advanced Quality Planning team in implementing normal production quality checks at each build to promote product awareness and knowledge exchange at each build.
Work with plant management teams to establish, implement and monitor the Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with TS16949.
Initiate sort/rework activity for a customer issue immediately and communicate with customer.
CANDIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS NEED ONLY APPLY:
Four year college degree, preferably engineering
5-15 years experience with at least 5 in automotive.
Salary $60,000 - $70,000 a year plus full relocation.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
