Patient Service Representative/ Receptionist
Busy Family Practice in Midlothian is searching for an experienced and professional Patient Service Representative to work full time in our front desk positions.
FPA needs YOU to help provide the highest level of customer service to our patients and referral sources!
Duties &
Responsibilities:
o Greet patients and other customers over the phone and in person.
o Answer a multi-line phone system.
o Scheduling of appointments.
o Verifying insurance coverage and referrals.
o Enter patient demographics, charges, receipts and appointments into an electronic system.
o Effectively communicate information to patient, clinician, referring physicians, case managers, and insurance companies.
o Demonstrate empathy, concern, good listening skills, and compassion for all patients.
o Cooperate, work, and communicate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure a pleasant and professional work environment.
We Require:
o Consistent administrative experience required
o Ability to speak clearly and understandably
o Excellent work ethic and phone etiquette
o Customer service and issue resolution
o Computer experience to include word processing and data entry
o Ability to create positive relationships with patients, referral sources, fellow coworkers, and clinicians
o Ability to handle multiple priorities and concerns easily
Hours:
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
