Perform full functions of an architectural interior designer, including preparation of presentation packages for new construction and historic renovation in the areas of civic, sports and recreation, and retail project types in response to request for proposals. Ensure that design intent and other design / business matters are effectively translated between ELS and foreign and domestic clients. Meet with existing and prospective clients to gather requirements necessary to evaluate scope of project. Prepare documents from schematic design through construction documents, including architectural renderings, plans, elevations, sections, furniture layouts, programmed space spreadsheets, narrative summaries, room data sheets, adjacency diagrams, utilizing 2D/3D modeling software (e.g. AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, V-ray for Sketchup, Rhino, Kerkythea, Revit, LumenRT, PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom) incorporating LEED sustainable design. Coordinate design production and presentations with foreign and domestic consultants, contractors, and regulatory and zoning agencies.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
