R&D Operations coordinator duties:
Job Description:
Coordinate & Administer R&D Lab & Office space, (act as a key interface between R&D and support organizations), drives R&D people tracking processes: (On/Off-boarding, maintain organization charts, and Access Db records), Authors & administers to lab web-pages, Administer lab-wide general processes: (lab-wide procurement, Lab security, Secured Recycling, etc.). Provides Data Tracking & Analysis using MS Excel, Access and other Database tools, administer data tracking & conducts simple to moderately complex analysis. Execute special projects as required: eg assist improve lab-wide records retention efforts, hiring processes, miscellaneous procurement and assist with organization's activity planning (celebrations, holiday party, etc)
Key
Responsibilities:
o Works on problems/projects of simple to moderately complex scope
o Day-to-day accountability for execution of program activities, including scheduling, planning, costing, development, implementation and sustaining activities of development of products and services
o Manages project budget, including monthly forecasting, expenditure tracking, cost breakdowns and ROIs
o Coordinates activities of multiple internal and external participants
o Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action
o Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction
Qualification & Critical Competencies to Drive Business Results:
Availability
Duties require onsite availability normally 40 hrs / week - 8:00 - 5:00
Program Coordination Tracking and Reporting
Coordinates day-to-day activities to meet assigned requirements
Allocates and reassigns resources to achieve overall program efficiencies
Leverages insights and solutions in one project area to improve productivity in another
Bridges separate initiatives or program components to ensure optimum alignment to plan
Continuously mines data to help assure business success
Generates and interprets data to ensure incorporation into decision making
Provides input on program scheduling, spending, timelines and other implementation activities

Procurement & Vendor Management
As appropriate, collaborates closely with vendors to ensure the cost-effective execution of responsibilities, alignment with goals, and compliance with quality standards
Applies specific criteria in compliance with Global Procurement processes for selecting vendors
Collaborates with others to ensure that vendor charges and expenses are aligned with true market value and reconciles invoices to assure accuracy.

Program Management Methods
Applies program/project management methods and processes to define, plan, cost, resource, track and ensure the accomplishment of targeted goals
Uses project management tools and standards to organize and manage project work
Reconfigures program components as needed to better manage tasks and resources
Recognizes and addresses cost-drivers and other threats to program success
Continually assesses program scope, cost, quality, and risk to ensure program is executed on time and within budget
Monitors, troubleshoots, and improves program to ensure program effectiveness
Uses standard PM practices to maximize program impact
Collects and applies user feedback for continuous program improvement

? Working knowledge of HP unique tools & systems (eg Rapid, Smart buy, etc.) (Desired). Preference will be given to those with Smartbuy experience.

Supports a single to a few projects within a medium scale program involving one or more functions driving the engineering development and implementation process for products or service offerings. Developes portions of project documentation in accordance with provided plan and detailed cifications, including budgets, resource allocation plans, and other support requirements under minimal guidance. Provides development support for project communications, including creation of status reports and summaries, tracking escalations and resolutions of issues, coordinating stakeholder meetings and updates, and updating documentation. Develops relationships with internal, cross organizational project teams for product development and manufacturing.Leads resources within a predefined area.Education and Experience - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent .Typically 0-2 years' experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
