Job Function:
We are looking for someone who is energetic and outgoing and who has an interest in working for an industry leader. If you are someone who enjoys working with customers, are interested in building and maintaining a customer base we welcome you to apply for this position.
As a Parts Representative you will perform a variety of in-store customer service, marketing, promoting, advertising, and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale, and delivery of parts and accessories. Employees will receive on-the-job training as well as other trainings through John Deere University (JDU).
Hours:
40 hours
Overtime
Monday - Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm
Saturday: 8:00AM - 12:00PM
Compensation:
Depends on experience
40
hours weekly, especially in peak season
Monthly bonus incentive
Essential Duties:
Sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.
Records sales and/or counter transactions.
Exceed monthly Parts Department sales goals.
Obtain new business
Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
Verifies receiving-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations.
Participates in all job-related training and development.
Performs routine housekeeping tasks.
Maintains condition of department vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
Skills &
Qualifications:
At least 1 year experience in Parts Department operations preferred.
Prior parts sales preferred.
Prior customer service experience required.
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
Ability to analyze and interpret basic Parts Department reports.
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
Ability to lift at least 40 lbs. repeatedly
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
Valid driver's license is required
Fork lift license preferred
