systems per month and growing, we are looking for a sharp, organized, charismatic candidate to join our operations team as a Permit Runner. In this entry level role, candidates will gain experience with PV system design, Authority Having Jurisdiction(AHJ) requirements around the county, the National Electric Code(NEC), as well as many other building code & industry requirements. This role is a stepping stone into an advanced career in PV system engineering or management and provides an opportunity to thrive in a growing industry. In this solar photovoltaic systems' Permit Runner role, the successful candidate always looks to improve work quality, is highly articulate, self-motivated and well-organized. He/she communicates and shares information/methods with cross-functional team members to achieve organizational goals. This job description is for the Orange County & Riverside offices and will service territories 100 miles
surrounding the Orange County and Riverside area.

Duties and
Responsibilities:
Work with local jurisdictions to acquire permits from any/all relevant agencies
Track and maintain all submitted and secured permits via online/excel database
Communicate with PM team regarding permit status's, as well as AHJ updates or changes
Develop and improve informational database of all local AHJ requirements
Develop/Maintain/Improve relationships with local AHJ's
On-site problem solving
May be asked to assist with drafting
Assist other Sullivan employees as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors' Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Engineering; Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be accepted
1
years' experience in the specification, analysis and installation of photovoltaic systems preferred
Knowledge of CAD drafting, Excel Database management
Ability to read, understand, and edit electrical and structural plans
Knowledge of photovoltaic (PV) design
Fluency in PV code compliance
Tireless personal initiative, entrepreneurial nature that drives you toward solution and results
Knowledge of the solar marketplace, technology and industry
Possess world class communication and customer service skills and experience
Effectively communicate information both orally and in writing
Able to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks

Other:
45-55% domestic travel within assigned area
Ability to work on roofs and ladders
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
